The collar of a robe is called oze (or ozo). From the collar and along the edge of the left flap and the hem of the robe usually runs a wide strip of cloth that is of a different color than the rest of the robe. In this case it is of a darker color. This strip is called qhoder taghz.

Having looked at its material and construction, we are now ready to close the robe. The left flap of a robe is always closed over the right and fastened with three, four or even up to six buttons. These buttons are called ughz. The way these robes close is similar throughout the area. Peter Dekker, who specializes in Asian archery, asserts that the oblique closing was to avoid contact with the buttons. Because when a bow is drawn taut, the string will inevitably come into contact with the body around the sternum. Were the button to be placed in the middle of the robe, it would mess with your shot, but, just as important, it would mess with your painstakingly put-together robe.
